Delivery and after service pathetic

Bought our bed in the Darlington store and was assured that our £2000 divan bed and headboard would be put in place no problem. On the day of delivery however, the bed was delivered but the headboard had "wings" which couldn't get up the stairs. The simple solution was to take out 3 bolts (5 mins) on one side to get the headboard up the stairs. One of the delivery men stated that they only had 10 minutes per delivery and would not wait until we removed the bolts. Their suggestion was return it to store and get a headboard that would go up the stairs. Our solution was two women (myself and my daughter) unlocked bolts and carried headboard to bedroom and fixed it to divan. Pathetic delivery service ... Was supposed to be passed on to area manager but two and a half weeks on no response. Was offered complimentary duvet or pillows but declined as just wanted a job, that was promised, done. Wish now that I'd walked a few more steps to furniture village !
