The reason part worn tyres have a bad rep

I gave the technician my tyre size. They then fitted the wrong size tyre to the rim. I asked if they had balanced it. They said “oh you want it balanced” like that’s not standard and necessary. They brought out 2 more tyres and asked me to choose between the two, both also the wrong size even though the tech had written the correct Tyre size on his glove the moment I got there. Finally brought out the continental tyre of the correct size, fitted it and balanced it under my supervision. I can’t come up with any other explanation other than they didn’t want to give me the part worn continental Tyre for the price they quoted over the phone. Total amateurs. Do not trust

I'm sorry to hear about that. Unfortunately, that day our tyre fitter Ben had to leave due to an emergency and our new trainee was helping out hence the miscommunication. I'm sorry about any inconvenience caused as this is a rare occasion.

Worst service

Worst tyre shop. Not on time, in fact too late. They had done a break pad change that was done wrong. The condition of my car was worst after getting repaired from Ben tyres. I don't recommend people to use Ben tyres.
