A good, reliable carpenter

Careful and considerate, Ben is an easy-to-deal-with, conscientious worker whose carpentry skills cover both interior and exterior work. He has worked on facias, gates and cupboards for me and I would not hesitate in asking him back whenever I need work done. Everything has been completed on schedule, to estimate and of a good quality.

Very pleased with Ben's carpentry work, replacing/repairing external timbers on our outbuildings. Work was completed efficiently and within the agreed timescales and estimates and I would not hesitate to use Ben in the future.

Reliable and impressive standard of workmanship

Ben was commissioned to carry out repairs and maintenance to five arched wooden bridges crossing streams in our garden.
These bridges were all different in length, width and construction and so required original thinking and differing skills in order to achieve attractive and safe final results . Ben was always reliable and worked diligently.
At all times he kept us fully advised of progress Additionally, he recommended changes to some of the original construction together with new and more appropriate materials to achieve an impressive and improved result. This was skilled carpenter’s work which was somewhat specialised and unusual. Ben undertook the project in a professional and efficient manner. His work area for each of the five bridges was always tidied at the end of each working day and, as a gardener, I was impressed that no plants were harmed. I would use Ben again, he gave good value for money and I recommend him without reservation.
