I’d arranged with Richard on Tuesday to view a car on Saturday morning as I live about 80 miles away and also with work commitments the weekend was the only time I could make it up there.

So having made the one and three quarter hour journey up the M62 in thick fog I arrive at what appears to be an old portakabin that they’re using as an office and was greeted by Gary who said the car was sold the day before.

Baring I’m kind they had both my email address and phone number they couldn’t even be bothered to tell me before I’d made the journey. So I’m all a wasted Saturday morning and 160 miles of unnecessary driving.

As well as having a great selection of vehicles they operate a brilliant friendly service! Very helpful & a pleasure to deal with.

Its easy to write a review criticizing a company when things don't quite go your way, and buying from a distance is difficult. Unfortunately i was one of these being in Cornwall, and when i arrived the car i had arranged to purchase,and paid a deposit on in order for some window tinting and side steps to be fitted, was sat awaiting me with what i had asked completed. However, on closer inspection with an LED light in dim light, i did find the car not to be up to the level i had hoped and had to make a difficult decision to walk away from it.
At this point you would fully expect some awkwardness to ensue from the dealership.. but (and this is the strong point i wish to make) to the team at Beckside 4x4's full credit there was none.
I really can't speak highly enough of the the team, Gary, Neal and Richard, who not only refunded my deposit in full with no quibble, but also gave me a lift to a hotel along with recommendations on the local eating houses etc. I'd happily contact again

Bought a Land Rover freelander and the service was great, we dealt with Richard who offered us a great deal and dealt with us in a very friendly and courteous manner. Highly recommended

I bought a vehicle from this dealer in January 2017 for the sum of £10.000. It was my choice to take out a extended warranty and I also used my own finance facility instead of paying cash. Everything seemed ok with the vehicle until 5 weeks down the line the dpf filter came on the vehicle. I use the vehicle for work purposes and do not use it for short journeys. I rang beckside 4x4 speaking with Richard who was rude and un helpful just saying ring the warranty company! I did this and was told to take it to a vat registered garage I did this and the garage checked the fault and the dpf filter had reached its useable life span. Beckside 4x4 response to this was take the dpf filter off my car without me knowing!the garage did not do this and informed me of there plans due to it not only being immoral but illegal. After 5 mths without a vehicle trading standards along with the financial ombudsman have resolved my problem but beckside 4x4 still refused to deal with it. Shocking experience!!
