employed this company through rated people website to do first fix and then come back and do 2nd fix,
1st fix fine,
2nd fix total cock up, started with not having a drill to core a hole through brick wall for main cable(said he was expecting me to drill the hole even though I'm paying him to do the job !!!!!!) had to drive back to derby to fetch the drill, once he got the hole done he proceeded to connect the cable, this is the best bit, as a supposed qualified electrician he connected the cable on the wrong side BY-PASSING the meter !!!!!!!!!!.
once I realised what he done, I contacted him and he denied doing it until I produced photos, promised to come back and put right but never did, in the end it cost me another £150 to put right his mess

Avoid avoid avoid

I advertised for an electrician using Rated People. Unfortunately the only response came from Beaucatt Electricians. I am a disabled man living alone and in my 70s. I spoke to a man from Beaucatt at length and explained the job I wanted. He asked me to send photos of my room and I did so. He never got back to me and has ignored all my attempts to contact him. Seems he only wants jobs which will make him an overnight millionaire.
