Always very slick service, well run and food always very good. Even in busy times staff always say " I will be with you soon" which makes a great deal of difference if waiting to be served.
Overall very nice and well worth a visit.

Gluten free menu

I have had 3 meals here recently all very good and as someone who cannot eat any gluten it is great to have a full menu to choose from . My friends who have eaten from the regular menu have been equally impressed .

Disappointing

1
Having been many times before in the past, we expected to have a nice meal out. However, having booked a table for 7pm we were seated in a shabby corner with wallpaper peeling off in the corner and a lovely view of the wheely bins. The food, although ordered at 7.10 did not arrive for another 40 minutes, despite it being a quiet Tuesday night. When it finally arrived, the food was mediocre at best and my father, who had ordered a medium-rare steak could barely cut into the shriveled up lump on his plate, whilst the staff may have given him a replacement, there was no apology for the lengthy wait and even the second one was still over-cooked, having arrived 10 minutes following everyone else's. Will not return, as it was a real disappointment.

Disappointing

Took my mum here for her birthday as hubby and I have visited on previous occasions and had a good experience and appreciated the home cooked food on offer.
Sadly this time we were disappointed. The milk with our pot of tea was sour and actually had a scum ring around the top eww.
I ordered the veggie meze platter from the specials board which to be fair was very nice. After the meal I saw the specials board on someone elses table and realised the feta cheese that should have come with my meal hadn't. When I paid the bill I mentioned it expecting to maybe get the price of the coffees we had after the meal taken off the bill. The waitress was almost surly and informed me that I should have complained when the meal arrived and she actually asked if I was sure! How rude.
She also tried to charge me £4.25 each for one scoop of vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce our two children had. When I questioned it she adjusted the bill but appeared not to like being caught out having made an error. Well we're all human and make mistakes but a sorry would have been nice.
To top it all the ladies toilet had no soap in it.
It's a shame the staff and the service let it down as the food, as usual, was lovely.

A wonderful place to enjoy food

wonderful homemade food with bags of flavour and the attention to detail and taste from the chef is obviously apparent. the staff are warm and welcoming, the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. a must place to eat if you like good food with an original spin which are apparent in the daily specials. had a great day out and will be returning very soon.
