Business overview

Metal fabricators, stainless steel specialists, architectural and structural metalwork.

Beacon Metalworks was established in May 2019 by James Winnett in its original location in Wickford Essex, which we soon outgrew. Our workshop is now based in South Benfleet in Essex, and we now have a fantastic team of fabricators, steel erectors and on-site welders.

Our business may be relatively new, but our experience isn't. James is a passionate steel fabricator welder with more than 10 years' experience throughout the trade - undertaking architectural metalwork, stainless steel fabrication and bespoke metalworks, and having previously worked with companies such as Tate & Lyle Sugars and Gillette.

Our team are always friendly and professional. Complete customer satisfaction is our priority.

Great local metal work shop

James designed, constructed and installed some fantastic bespoke metal work for me. The product, service and price were excellent.

Excellent work

We presented James and his team with a difficult task of removing load bearing walls in a particularly tall 3 storey building with very large and heavily engineered RSJs. This presented additional challenges in access to the site. The team were fantastic throughout. The work was to a very high quality, with a strong emphasis on safety at all times. They were also very friendly and informative took time to explain the whole process throughout. It was clear they are very experienced and I would have no hesitation in calling upon their services again.

Excellent customer service! Highly recommend

Big Thankyou to James and his team at Beacon Metalworks who were able to fabricate a pull up bar for me. Because the gyms are closed and a good level of fitness is a requirement in my job I needed a study bar designed to fit a beam in my garage. James and the team at Beacon Metalworks aided in designing a bar that is ergonomic and practically suited to what I need it for. I felt they couldn’t do enough for me and I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.
