Beach Street Restaurant Ltd

We visited The Granville today for Sunday lunch and whilst the service was fine, the food was extremely disappointing. The portion size was very small; we were given a few tasteless vegetables, the potatoes tasted like instant Smash and the pork was extremely fatty and smothered in a disgusting apple sauce. At £16 per meal, this certainly does not represent good value for money-overpriced rubbish.

Service was excellent, the ambience was snug, love the log fire. Loved the art work which you could buy.
I had cauliflower soup, which was lovely and creamy.
Main was sea bream with grapefruit, nice combination.
Dessert,I had the raspberry sorbet, which was so refreshing.

We have visited The Granville a few times now and have found the food, service and surrroundings absolutely outstanding.

The menu is absolutely just right without being pretentious.

Highly recommended on all counts
