Border Embroideries was founded in 1989 by Billy and Shirley-Anne Smillie and has grown from that point into what is easily the UK's leading specialist school uniform, work, sports & leisure clothing embroidery service.

Starting with a single head embroidery machine in 1989, there are now multi and single head machines in the factory with a total of 80 embroidery heads.

With over 10,000 logos on file, Border Embroideries has established itself as an experienced business that can cater for any types and sizes of orders for any type of use. Employing 100 staff to work some of the 90 embroidery heads, its safe to say we can cater for orders of any size
