The Community Vets

Our Morecambe surgery is a large Victorian house that was built in the 1870s. It was situated on a busy tram line into the town and today remains on the main route into Morecambe.

In 1974 Richard worked as an assistant at our Morecambe surgery. He and his wife lived in the building with their first son until Richard joined the partnership. They then moved out and expanded the building to cater for the needs of a large, dependable veterinary practice.

We pride ourselves on the very personal service we provide for pets and their owners at Morecambe. Despite being very busy, we always make time to warmly welcome everyone that enters our practice; both human and animal.

Progressive improvement is very important to us at Bay Vets, and our Morecambe branch is a great example of our dedication to the service you and your pet receive. As well as continually investing in the latest and most advanced veterinary equipment available we also keep on top of the building refurbishments.

NASTY> ive been with this vet for years and spent a lot of money. my cat was ill they said i would have to go on a waiting list cause i havnt been for a long time. although they did see me in 2023. {i recall} dont mind going on a waiting list but it was the way i was spoken to. more or less told me to sod off. anyway i contacted burch tree vets. they registered me same day. AND the totally helpful person in morecambe rang carnforth and fitted me in. ***** for BURCH TREE VETS>

Always been very good for us and our dogs, the vets are great and really seem to care. They take the time to put my nervous german shepherd at ease.

Pricey service

Had a consultation for my chahuaha and she needed antibiotics. We all know going to the vets is pricey and we go in blind, no idea as to the cost until it needs to be paid. £84 and I need to take her back in a few days to check she's healing which will be another £33. The meds surly can't be that expensive. I feel totally taken advantage of. I thought this was a caring profession but it seams to very much be all about the money you can't even get through the door without the £33, I am now looking for a new vet
