Bay Malton Angling Club

I don't know who runs this club. But it must have the same set of penny pinching so called directors. I remember back in the earl y 80's there was only one pool, the island pool 35-40pegs. Which was leased by West End Angling club. Secretary and chairman, Jim & Dot. Dot was wheelchair bound, and a cousin I believe of the McGuinnesses. So we did a lot of work to make it access friendly. After a few years we were priced off the site by some family members. Damn good angling relations eh, NOT.

They increased the price this year for disabled and pensioners to point where it’s no longer affordable. As most disabled anglers like myself only fish boarder fisheries in the summer think this is no longer affordable and the committee don’t think of the older and disabled members who have been members for years it feels like we just don’t account for anything as we get older and less mobile all I can say thank for nothing from your pension and disabled members this will be you in years to come
