Opened in June 2012, Batter Sea Fish Bar is a family run chippy with a big focus on quality food and healthy options. We have a 5 Star Hygiene rating so you know you can visit us with confidence!
We always cook with the best quality, freshest ingredients to produce a delicious takeaway. We cook all our fish to order and know you won't mind waiting the few minutes for fresh fish and chips. We offer Haddock and now cod due to popular demand - we make sure we listen to all our customers!
We use Carofry - a healthier oil, with no cholesterol, it is virtually trans-fat free, non-hydrogenated and environmentally sustainable, coming from dedicated plantations that have never been habitats for endangered animals. It contains Pro-Vitamin A and Vitamin E and has heart-friendly anti-oxidants. Who knew fish and chips could be so healthy and still so tasty?!
In September 2012 , we became the first Fish and Chip shop in Huddersfield to win a Gold Healthy Choice Award from Kirklees Council because

1I do not want to rip into this shop too much however all I can say is that we shall never be returning and they do not have a clue what they are doing.

You must be crazy, i think i was in the queue after you as i remember that order. The food from this place was amazing, i should know as i use to have a chippy years ago in Oldham. I think you need your taste buds replacing. My food was cooked to order and was ready within 5 minuites.
