Bates Butchers

Our aim is to retain the craft butchers philosophy. Procuring our stock from local farms and processing the meat in house whilst embracing modern technology in hygiene and equipment. In the shop, we endeavour to provide a service tailored to our customer’s specific requirements. Whether it be having your meat diced to a certain size to us providing a set piece crown of lamb for a dinner party or making a meat product to dietary requirements, such as gluten free sausage. Our staff are always pleased to discuss any requirements with you.

Services

We have a 24-hour telephone messaging service for any one requiring early morning attention which is useful for caterers. Our refrigerated delivery van goes out daily and early evening drops are available. Another service we offer is for livestock owners in which we arrange for killing at our local abattoir, we return the carcasses to our shop to hang, cut, pack and label ready for your freezer, we can also price label for further sale.
