Barries Dry Cleaning

When I went to collect my shirt it had been given to someone else. The man in the shop gave me another and when I said I didn't want it because it wasn't my shirt his response was 'what's special about your shirt'. He didn't accept any responsibility for the loss and told me if it wasn't returned to me within 28 days I could claim off the insurance. Not very helpful when I needed the shirt for a wedding this weekend. The man wasn't interested, was rude dismissive and obnoxious. I will not be returning to this shop.

I first went here 7 years ago. I had an issue with one of my shirts and the manager told me it was like it before. I was unsure if it was, or if it had happended during their service. I decided to use a different dry cleaner after that. However recently, the other dry cleaner closed down therefore I decided to try Barries again. They now had a new website and I got in touch via the contact form. They quickly responded saying that the old shopfront manager has left, and promise to deliver outstanding service this time round, and they managed to fulfill that! I took my suit to be dry cleaned. The sales assistant pointed out (very professionally I should add) that there was a cigarette hole in the jacket. They offered to patch it for me and I went ahead. I picked them up last week and the repair was done professionally, and the dry cleaning to a high standard. Will definatley be using them again and I won't let my past bad experience judge this company.
