Business overview

Situated on Mitchell St, Barolo Grill is two minutes walk from Central Station, Queen Street Station and the Buchanan St Underground Station. Ideal for a business lunch in one of our comfortable booths, celebrations and large parties, graduations and even just to take the weight off your feet while shopping with a well earned glass of Prosecco.

The clue is in the name, as they say - and Barolo Grill is no exception. We pride ourselves on our top quality Scottish steaks, meats and seafood, cooked to perfection, and served with a contemporary Italian touch. Our extensive wine list offers the best in Italian varietals, and of course a superb selection of Barolo wines.

We also specialise in superb focaccia and pizza, baked in our traditional Italian pizza oven and topped with fresh ingredients.

The waiters and staff are friendly and it is a nice atmosphere. The chef brings out the best in them, and with a sure touch of his flavour combinations Try to leave room for the sweet trolley

Music While You Eat

4
A great place to go if you're looking for more than just a meal. A night here can turn into a full night out not just a meal as they regularly have live music on a Fri or Sat. Food is nice, but be warned it is quite expensive for both food and drinks.

Hmmm

I'm not too fussy on this one to be honest. I'd heard great things about it from friends and family, but wasn't at all impressed when I went for dinner. Unfortunately, I took my mum as a mother's day treat - I wish I hadn't bothered! It was expensive (much more so than the surrounding restaurants' mother's day menus), and had little choice. The food was ok, but nothing to shout about.

The waiting staff seemed (for want of a better expression) arrogant, and they appeared to want us out as quickly as possible. Pretty much as soon as out last mouthful had been eaten, our plates were whisked away and the next course choices shoved under our noses, and the waitor stood tapping his pen on his notebook while we were trying to decide what we wanted!

Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Goodbye L'Ariostos

We went to L'Aristos tonight. We have been going there for the last two and a half years. Our first date was there. We used to love it. The last three times we have been there, the waiters have rushed us, then ignored us after we have eaten. They have become complacent. Tonight the meal came before the wine and they mixed up our liquor coffees. These finer details are important. The entertainment is the best part. Marianne the singer is awesome. To top it all tonight my partner spent over a hundred pounds and they did not even give me a flower. A small thing, but that confirmed it for us. Goodbye L'Aristos we won't be coming to your restaurant again.

our favourite place to be romantic & eat well

5
i have actualy attended this restraunt for many years & have nothing but great things to say about the place,Ive been away for a long time but heard from a friend whom attended last year who reasures me it hasn't lost it's excellence in food service & ambience so I cannot wait to return to L'ariostos.

For my husband & I we always felt that the service was always impeccable as was the food, the prices I feel are fare considering the standards set as well as the saroundings & live entertainment is available from Thursdays to sundays thats always a bonus.

I haven't been to L'ariostos for quite some time since i have been living in Australia but have every intention of going to L'ariostos again on September 1st to celebrate my husband & myself being married for 25yrs[silver wedding],L'ariostos was our place to romance in the 80s we also went there for Birthdays & other annaversary meetings to dine in the fine sarroundings & excellent cusine.
