Barchester Awel-y-Mor Care Home

Situated in Swansea, Awel-Y-Mor is a rehabilitation centre providing high dependency care, respite care and active and slow stream rehabilitation. The home welcomes young physically disabled adults that have traumatic or acquired brain injury, spinal injury or who have other physical disabilities. The home also cares for young people that suffer from congenital illnesses and those that have learning disabilities. The home has strong GP links within the local community and each individual patient is created a unique care plan to best support their rehabilitation. The staff work hard to ensure the residents best enjoy their own independence and freedom, and they organise vast activities schedules every month.
