Barbican Chimes Music opened in 1983 and holds a premiere location in the heart of London's financial district, adjacent to the Barbican Arts Centre and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama . It is only 5 minutes walk from Barbican and Moorgate underground stations.

We pride ourselves in being able to offer a personal, efficient and knowledgeable service to our customers. The key to our specialist music service is our retail staff who are qualified musicians. Our six senior members of staff have over 100 years experience in the trade between them.

As one of the few remaining independent music retailers, we have a very wide range of printed music, books and accessories in stock for all musicians from the absolute beginner and interested amateur to the concert professional. For those of you who cannot visit our shop in person, we offer a fast mail order service. We have our own order delivery service, too, for schools and colleges in the London area.
