yet another good delivery of dryed logs i have been using this company for a while now and whould recomend them to all i know

We got our logs in November and they have proved perfect with our stove. A good long lasting burn every time, 2-3 logs followed by a couple of peat briquettes are perfect for heating our living room.

Moisture content was 12-13% when the logs were delivered, and the delivery was in fact next day.

So I would recommend Baltic without reserve.

I purchased a £160 pallet of wood from this compaby. The delivery was not next day as advertised. The pallet of wood was a good mixture of medium and large wood staves, however the wood is not dry enough. Each log that goes into the stove smoulders, combustion is not great and consequently the resulting fire is much cooler. The Baltic Firewood Company's logs do catch fire but generate alot of soot and smoke, especially when first lighting.
After moving the wood pallet round the back, there didn't seem much point in attempting to return the product. It's now in the woodshed and will hopefully be dry enough for next year.
I won't be returning to this company. I'd advise any purchasers to test random chucks of wood for moisture content in the pallets with something like this:

If the moisture is content is more than 20%, reject the wood.
