Bakare Barley Ltd

Bakare Barley Ltd is an equality training consultant providing bespoke EDI services to organisations wishing to improve their HR and People Functions and better understand and cater for their customers.

I provide a range of services including equality audits, diagnostics, strategic reviews, action planning, employee resource group support and training and facilitated workshops.

My academic background in Social Policy acted as a catalyst towards a career in the voluntary sector focused on race and gender equality. This included working at local infrastructure organisations, government funded initiatives and community organisations in Bradford, Wakefield, Birmingham, and London.​

I have also worked in a range of Higher Education Institutions in the UK, and worked with a range of professional bodies and within industry to bring about visible change for employers.

I have up to date knowledge of the Equality Act (2010) and the historical context behind this legislation and can apply the Public Sector Equality Duty (PSED) to a range of organisational settings, and have tailored a range of tools employers can use to spearhead their journey towards inclusivity and meritocracy through legal frameworks such as Positive Action.
