Brian Darnbrook is a family run business who have over 40 years of experience with coal and fuel.

Brian has been operating out of the yard since 1969 and now his son Guy is fully involved with the operation.

We hold our values close at heart and both Brian and Guy are always around to answer the phone, giving every customer a very personal service.

As one of the longest established solid fuel delivery and coal merchants in North Yorkshire, we regularly supply a number of customers including many homes and pubs. We also stock fuel for cash and carry, directly at our coal yard.

Fair price and extremely reliable

For twenty years Darnbrook's has been one of the best businesses I deal with. They are efficient and effective. Deliveries are prompt and they never mess me about.

Best place for solid fuel supply in Ilkley and surrounding area

Cold night and wanted a good supply of coal at short notice! These guys are amazing, they helped with right supply and even carried to the car. Price is much better than any convenience supply or fuel station and it’s very well placed for pick up and offered delivery!
