B C Baker & Son Funeral Directors

I was completely excluded from Mother's funeral arrangements, being the eldest son.
BC Baker refused to speak with me, informing me I am not entitled to know anything about my Mother's funeral, when I called to confirm that my Mum has the music and flowers she wished.
Post funeral, B C Baker refused to acknowledge that I am family and denied me the right to know what happened to my Mother's ashes!
I was treated with insensitivity at a time of grief, simply hearing I have no right to know what happened to my Mother!
They added to the loss and grief I felt and were incredibly obtuse.
Do not use them!

Baker & sons in Caterham were recommended by our Doctors office For my mother. I cannot express how impressed and grateful for such a professional and caring experience we had. Our funeral coordinator was Debbie who so thoughtful caring. She listened to us process this lost and advised us from a professional and personal level. The funeral director Richard was amazing. He is actually a real Undertaker who has been in this line of business for over 50 years. His knowledge, attention to detail was amazing. He had presence, and was very thoughtful all the way through the process right up to the end of the funeral.
Guest the funeral all commented on how professional he was and how he shook hands and thanked everyone for attending. I believe this was above and beyond what we could have expected. Thank you for making this special occasion perfect. Reflecting back I would not have changed anything.
