Avondale Sweeps

Do not use this company. Terrible service. Very quick job ( less than 15 mins to clean each chimney). No sheeting up so dust everywhere. Tried to charge us £760 for 2 men for less than 90 mins work cleaning 3 chimneys and placing cowls on top ( one chimney had only been cleaned 2 weeks before but my husband was unaware). The position of one of the cowls is also affecting the TV arial now so we will also have to pay to get this sorted. After a number of phone calls and emails arguing the price the fee was reduced to £500 but they threatened further action to recover the money only one week after the work was completed, even though they knew I had literally just been discharged from hospital following a brain haemorrhage. Will never use again.

After speaking to 5 companies which all never come back to me, I picked the phone up and spoke to Valerie from Avondale, within days they came out and sorted out my chimney. Great service and a great price! I would highly recommend!

I recently had my chimney swept by Russell from Avondale Sweeps. He was very friendly and explained to me the problems with my chimney that he was able to sort. The service was good value for money and he has given me some good advice about my chimney and wood burner and i will definitely be asking him to come back next year!
