Avon Owls Falconry Rescue Centre. We are a Bird of Prey rescue charity based just out side of Weston - super - mare, we are run by unpaid volunteers find out more on our website.
Avon Owls is a grassroots, 100% volunteer-run charity that aims to end domestic abuse of owls and other birds of prey through education and public engagement. Avon Owls relies solely on donations. With the help of our supporters, we’ve grown to house over 40 birds of prey, since Darren Jenkins got the first owls in 2008..
Ex-pets, abused animals, injured wild birds or abandoned chicks. No matter where an animal has come from they receive dedicated time and attention. Domestic birds receive training or are re-homed whilst wild birds are giving a safe space to recover before release.
