I hired Avon Hardwood Flooring to sand and refinish my oak floors. Despite providing clear instructions and reference photos, the results were poor—drips, smears, and an uneven finish throughout. The work took 8 days instead of the quoted 4, causing major disruption. When I raised concerns, Jack initially returned but became defensive and ultimately refused to fix the issues. I’ve since had a professional assessment confirming the floor may be permanently damaged. The company has multiple unpaid CCJs, so I’d strongly advise others to avoid them.

We, a church in East Bristol, are delighted with how the team from Avon Hardwood Flooring brought the wooden floor in our church hall back to life. The finish is amazing, the people doing the work were helpful, friendly and efficient and the price was very competitive. They have exceeded our expectations and we can highly recommend.
