Paid Paul over £4000 for a gate which doesn't meet the spec agreed. He fitted a gate which we requested to keep our small dog from getting out. (he chose to do so while we were on holiday despite us giving ample notice) The gate he fitted has a large ground clearance meaning our dog can escape with little effort. The gate has also not opened and closed smoothly from the offset which is causing damage and scratching to the powder coating. denies all knowledge of our discussions regarding the spec & need for security for our dog and refuses to return and rectify. Unfortunately we have paid him due to him pressuring us whilst on holiday, making threats to not complete the work. Nevertheless he's still not actually completed it up to now. He damaged a fence panel on our property and is yet to reimburse us for the cost of this. The finish & quality of workmanship is sloppy at best. rust, scratches and damage caused during install- would not recommend Avit Fabrications to my worst enemy.
