I can't comment on the cafe side as we have never been, but the garden centre is the best around Basingstoke that we have been to (which is most). The plant selection is far superior in quality, and they have a great range. Very well stocked too. I purchased about 30 box hedging plants, all of which are still growing nicely in the garden 2 months later.

Not impressed with the restaurant
2
Three of us called in for coffee and cakes yesterday and I tried to make a friendly comment to the waitress but her level of interest was zero. The millionaires shortbread and the bakewell slice were very dry and tasted stale, the piece of bread pudding had very little spicy flavour. It could have been a pleasant afternoon break.....but it wasn't!
We won't be visiting again.

Kind and Generous

As a professional working with someone in need, Avenue Nurseries were helpful, kind and generous with their donation of planters.

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and rate it as one of the best for quality and price I have been to, I have always found the staff pleasant and helpful.

Animal cruelty
1
This company has a total disregard for animal welfare. By selling hutches which are far too small they are encouraging animal cruelty. They seem to think it's ok to cause pain and misery to rabbits so long as they make a profit from them. I see one of their staff members just gave 5 stars in response to the honest reviews. So there you have it, even the staff support animal suffering. Shameful.
