Thankfully Steve is patient, diligent, honest and good value for money.

Modern vehicles with their complicated electronics are (more often than not) beyond the capability of even the most keen DIYer. YouTube is a minefield of advice from people who claim to be experts and who don't have to live with the cost of dealing with the damage that well-meaning interference with modern electrics/electronics can cause.

I've used Steve a few times for truly difficult jobs. I've yet to be disappointed, except with myself for not calling him sooner.

It’s difficult to know if you should believe reviews, especially when there are so many positive ones, but we are so glad we did. Steve is deeply experience, genuinely kind and exceptionally professional man who is as intent on doing everything he can to help solve electrical issues as he is to answer every question, openly and simply regardless of the complexity. We have a Ford Galaxy (stop start) with a number of problems and had been played by garages who ‘tried’ and could not find the issue, and then charged a small fortune for the experience. In contrast, Steve didn’t mess about, fixed what was needed and explained how and why we had certain issues. It was a genuine pleasure and a huge relief to meet someone so honest and so professional, would highly recommend Steve to anyone.

I had a puzzling fault on my old 2007 VW Golf. All the electrics down the left side had failed. He came to the location 30 miles away, diagnosed and then fixed the problem for a very reasonable sum. I am delighted with his service, and can recommend him wholeheartedly.

Old school perfect gentleman. Steve is just the best, sorted a long standing problem on my wife’s car which others failed to find. If you have an electrical problem on your car, Steve will find it and fix it. He doesn’t refer to diagrams books or the internet ( I think he wrote most of the books and half the internet )
