Waste of time..

I was contacted by Audi requesting to book my car in for a Brake Fluid change and a service. I was given a time slot of 09:40 Fri but when I dropped the car in I was asked could it be left for the day as they were really busy (fine, no problem), I said I'll pick it up Sat morning. I rang at 09:30 Sat and was told by the receptionist that someone would call me back (they didn't) so after an or so I walked down to collect it anyway. I arrived at 11:00 and was told by the receptionist that there was a 15-20min wait for the 'servicing rep'. When I finally did get to see someone she told me that there was actually no need to have brought the car in as neither the Brake Fluid or Service was due until Jan 2024 and was probably contacted by the Audi 'Call Centre' who's records were unlikely to be up to date! . What a waste of time..
