The building was a blue lias stone shed beforehand, we were contacted by Somerton Town Council to renovate it into a place for the public to sit on visiting the Cemetery.

Block work done complete, ready to star stoning up.
All stone work now complete and coping slabs have been cut and ready to lay.
All complete after bedding on coping slabs and laying some fresh concrete.
New chimney on listed building with thatch roof, existing was unsubstantial to comply with todays standards regarding Thatch.

Aston Construction have just completed building an outside porch over our back door. We asked for it to replicate the existing front door porch and are delighted with the result. Ben and Steve have carried out the work very promptly and just as requested. Last year Aston Construction also carried out a part conversion of our garage into a sitting room with great results. They are always efficient, friendly, polite and very professional and we would highly recommend them.

Bedroom plastered

Ben and Steve came to plaster 3 walls in our spare bedroom. They worked really well together and hard. We’re really pleased with the finish and they were very respectful of our home. I would definitely recommend this company. Thanks for doing a great job.

First class work

Aston Construction (South West) Ltd have worked for us on several occassions: constructing a patio, laying a concrete plinth for a garden shed and installing an accessible walkway to the shed, renovating an outbuilding, installing a new kitchen and most recently laying paving, constructing fencing, and a decorative wall in the front garden. They are very personable, good timekeepers, their knowledge is excellent and their work first-class. They always finish a job on time. Their quotations for jobs need some work as there is often not enough detail or breakdown but they do provide this when asked. We would highly recommend them.
