Ashmore Veterinary Centre

Ashmore vets is no more, now Medivet and the standards Ashmores built up have now gone. My dog went in for a physical examination and a blood test, for a repeat prescription. No physical examination was carried out and the vet said Bailey would not allow her to take blood, he’s had two blood tests a year since he was 2yrs old. Complete incompetence and lack of experience. Still got the prescription and Medivet got there money, which is all they are concerned about. My advice is to find a new vat this place is not any good. The receptionists did not even know who was the manager of the practice. Appalling , I’ve left and found a great vet in Westerham.

It is with a heavy heart I write this review.We had to have our beautiful white Persian put to sleep from old age.We thought to save her any stress we would pay for the vet to come out to her.The vet that came had no compassion at all.What we had to watch has left us heartbroken.He first gave her a sedative she didn’t need she was not stressed.Which hurt her.Made her sick and messed herself.Then instead of one euthanasia he gave her three .For us to watch that was heartbreaking.We have had eight cats put to sleep and one injection was enough.She didn’t go that quickly .I emailed them one week ago and they said they would get back but still heard nothing.The receptionist was amazing and compassionate more than I can say for the vet.lts taking us so much longer to get over this 😥

Bertie our Dachshund was paralysed in both back legs and incontinent. The spinal operation was not an option and so we decided to try acupuncture. Kylie our vet at Ashmores worked on Bertie, and with each acupuncture session Bertie’s symptoms started to improve, after 4 sessions he is walking and continent. All of the staff at Ashmores are professional and caring I would totally recommend the practice, Bertie is very thankful to them.

We had to take our 2 beloved rats to Ashmore as they were both suffering with tumours. Sadly one of them couldn't be saved, but the other underwent surgery and is very much recovered now. The help and advice we got from the staff at Ashmore was first class, and the way they looked after our surviving rat was compassionate, caring and thorough. They went out of their way to make things easier for us. Before we found Ashmore, we were very unimpressed with several other Vets practices that we spoke to, who seemed more interested in profit than pet care. We will certainly go back in future if the need arises. Thank you so much.

My French Bulldog, Enzo, needed surgery to his ears. Not all vets offer this procedure and some vets are extremely expensive. We were recommended Hilary at Ashmore Practice. She undertook the operation which was very successful. She is a lovely, genuine lady and we were more than happy with the treatment Enzo received and the cost was very reasonable for the surgery and post operative treatment. We will be changing to Ashmore vets for any other treatment our dogs need.
