opticians manager was horrible!
been in today to pick up my wifes glasses after a minor repair on the right lense.after inspection the left lense of the glasses had a massive scratch on them. these glasses were only 3 days old and no way went into the shop like that as they were inspected by the optical staff when we took them in! we saw the manager who then proceded to inspect them and tell us she would repair them but in her opinion we must have damaged them ourselves practically calling us liars!! her attitude was horrible to us even when I pointed out I was more than willing to buy new glasses if i needed to but I would not stand for that manner to my wife from anyone!!, we then spoke to the store manager and she was lovely and understanding to us both, even giving us £20.00 compensation and an apology that we didn't want to take but she insisted. what a difference a proper manager makes! opticians manager awful! but we left with a promise of a proper repair job. well done the store manager.
