At Artimus Renewables, we provide a comprehensive and integrated design and installation service for retrofit and new installations all of the main green technologies. Covering this broad spectrum of low carbon technologies was deliberate as they have synergies and the potential to complement each other. An integrated solution may be more cost effective to install and provides a greater reduction in carbon emissions – for example, the inclusion of battery storage and electric vehicle (EV) charging when installing a solar PV system.

We are MCS certified to design and install air source heat pumps and ground source heat pumps, and solar PV and battery storage. We are also registered for the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS), which provides up to £7,500 towards the cost of replacing a fossil fuel heating system with a heat pump. We also offer design and installation of small wind turbines.

We are careful to choose equipment that has a proven track record, is readily available and is covered by robust technical support in the UK. We also pride ourselves on providing help and guidance once the installation is complete, including a 2-year guarantee on all workmanship and material defects.

We had a cartridge air-conditioning unit fitted in our bedroom by Artimus Ltd. It was a complicated fit because access to the outside and loft space was limited. Artimus did a great job, very tidy and friendly people. I am so pleased with the unit, cools the room down (as expected) but also heats the room in the winter. It is very cost-effective unit only costing pence to run per day, heating the room at a much lower cost than my central heating, should have had it fitted years ago. Thanks Steve and Fran, great job.

Excellent throughout

Steve and Matt provided excellent service from initial contact, testing our existing circuits, solution and installation all the way through to post installation questions and set up refinement. We had a particularly complex (3 phase) system and set of requirements to match. Steve provided options, ratifying the recommended solution with the equipment supplier to ensure requirements were met and the solution was optimal including completion of the relevant paperwork to ensure import / export was ready to go with our energy supplier. As a large install we expected some issues but whenever we faced a challenge Steve and Matt identified and agreed with us a great resolution. In short we couldn't be happier. In todays environment its rare to find such a high level of service and knowledge. Would highly recommend.

Definitely recommend Artimus Renewables

I used Artimus in February 2023 to install a 9.5Kw battery storage system. The service received was excellent, they kept appointments, answered any questions I had quickly and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted to achieve, before recommending a system.

On the date of install they arrived on time and completed all the work in one day. They made sure that the areas they had worked in were clean and all packaging taken away with them when they left. Steve also took the time to run through how the system worked and gave me some great tips on how to optimise the system to get the most from it.

Having had such a great experience with them on the battery install, I'm now using them to install a solar PV system at the same property and again their communication and flexibility has been first rate.

I would recommend them to anybody looking for solar PV or battery installation.

Excellent service

We recently had the pleasure of working with Artimus Renewables; who truly exceeded our expectations.
We had a hybrid inverter, solar battery and an EV charger installed, and we also asked Steve to service our air source heat pump.
From the outset, Steve was very understanding and took the time to listen to our concerns.
He was always very friendly and considerate to our needs, which made the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
Not only was he efficient in his work, but he also delivered excellent results and cleaned up when he had finished.
He made sure that we fully understood everything that had been done and also provided instruction to help us going forwards.
I highly recommend Artimus Renewables to anyone in need of reliable and high-quality service.

Could not recommend enough. 5*.

I cannot recommend Artimus Renewables enough. Steve could not have been more helpful in what was an otherwise very stressful breakdown of our whole heating system not long after moving in.
He always gave us very clear options with pros and cons for every option allowing us to make informed decisions every step of the way.
We ended up having a air source heating system installed. Over the week Steve was friendly, polite and tidy. We will not hesitate to use the business again whenever needed.
