A warm Thank You to Emergency Receptionist Courtney (Bradshaw Braw Centre) who this Saturday did a brilliant job in between 2 emergency calls, to successfully help us get contacted by the owner of a Cat who had got lost, and whom we had rescued.
The calico Cat is back at her home now. Thank you again dear Courtney and we wish you a very Happy Christmas!

The cost of treatment is quite high but the vet is very thorough.

Totally brilliant in an unusual situation. I didn't own the animal concerned but the vets were quick thinking and responsive; the animal is now fine!

told to bring my bulldog girl in as in difficult labour. we were told we would be seen straight away. sped all the way there. to be taken into a consult room. we were then told we had to leave as a dog was coming out. instead a rabbit went in. we were left waiting for 40 minutes, all whilst green fluid was leaking from our girl ( clear sign pups need to be delivered asap ) finally saw a freak who washed his hands 5 times. we asked for an EMERGENCY c section thinking it would be done asap. at 1am 4 hours later,we get a phone call telling us they had just done a c section and all the pups had died.
The bill is £1200.
avoid at all costs. why did they make my girl wait for hours to perform the c section??

I decided to write this review after attending with my dog. was told he was dehydrated and needed to be admitted for tests etc .. after visiting him on a number of occasions there seemed to be no change and still no results but a rather large vet bill was continuing to rise... after 5 days we decided enough was enough and stated that we would like to collect him... a few hours later was told he had made a miraculous recovery and seemed to be on the mend ... but still no results ...only a £800.00 vets bill. was told he was dehydrated and they had rehydrated him. Great !!! we took him home but feel like we were completely ripped off. I then wanted to get my cat castrated so I telephoned for a price £60.00 which was the highest in Bolton and Bury. I have since taken to another vets and cost was £30.00 with 3 follow up appointments to check everything was well which were free of charge as after any procedure all follow up treatment is free but ARMAC will charge every time you walk through the door. they know we all love our pets and therefore charge top prices.. that's why there are now Armacs popping up just about everywhere . in my view its always best to attend a small, friendly practice whose priority is to look after your pets and not just their bank balance and I have to say that I have found just the place and can honestly say that you will be able to see the difference between a money maker and a carer.
