My Mercedes C Class had engine leak and brake problems… I left my car with them and they provided me a courtesy car… I can back and my car was sorted… Very pleased with their service… Very professional..

I handed my car in for a health check after finding an engine warning light. This was a newly purchased 2nd hand car that came with a new MOT with zero advisories. In fact, Tom found several issues with the car, and sure enough when it was put through a 2nd MOT at an independent Ford garage, it failed miserably, even returning a serious safety fault that was unrelated to the engine warning light.

When I found out about the repairs I was outraged at my car dealer and I expected him to make good on his promise of an MOT with zero advisories. With Tom's help and his photographic evidence of the issues, we each spoke to the dealer and negotiated that he should infact pay for these important repairs. Now my car runs more smoothly and much more quietly, and I have my MOT with zero advisories that I was promised by my car dealer.

The whole time communication was rapid and punctual. Cant fault the experience.

MISDIAGNOSED

Misdiagnosed overheating problem. Cost me #140 to have a new thermostat installed which was not the problem. Took the payment and left me to my mercy. Had to go to another garage. For that reason I would not recommend. Does not give you 100% customer care and satisfaction.

We are very sorry you feel that way, we believe that we dealt with the issue accordingly and we have NOT misdiagnosed the job. After running our diagnostics on the vehicle where we checked the heating, cooling system, we reported that we may have an issue with one of 3 components 1) The thermostat unit ( This unit is incased in a housing and can only be tested off the vehicle, we advised you to change the unit as it will be worth to replace while the unit is off. to help you with the cost we advised you to get a unit online as it will be much cheaper which you did. 2) We have advised that we need to further investigate any blockages in the system, after you brought your vehicle down we removed the cooling pipes and flushed them through to make sure there are no blockages in the water flow. After completion & realising there were no blockages, we contacted you and explained that the cause of the issue is the head gasket which we mentioned it will be an expensive fix, around £500 to repair. you then said that you need to think about it as you are working with a very tight budget. (Please note that we have spent 5 hours working on your vehicle but only charged you for 1 hour labour to help you)

Next thing we heard from you, was on the bad reviews you have been given our business. We contacted you to find out that your car has not been fixed by the other garage, so we offered to give you a FOC labour if you get the part that the other garage suggested which we are certain t's not the cause of the issue but you declined our offer. We believe that we deal with our customers fairly, providing them with a great service, great quality of workmanship for reasonable prices.
