Poor communication skills

The operative cancelled the first appointment by email at 5am on the day of the appointment then failed to arrive at the appointed time the following day. I tried to contact the operative's mobile twice in that time and received no response. I left and spent time contacting other companies to carry out the job.
Later that day and still not having received any response to my earlier message and call I discovered that the operative from Arisien had actually gained access to my vacant premises that morning as someone happened to be present when the operative arrived an hour later.
I received the report a couple of days later.
