Argyll Hotel

If you are going to Glasgow for a shopping trip and want to remain central I would highly recommend this hotel. It has a victorian style and rooms are comfortable and prices are reasonable. Last time I stayed here was within the last year. During my stay some of the rooms were undergoing refurbishment, this did not diminish my stay. Was able to book online, which is always helpful. The hotel was busy but you do not get disturbed by other guests, very thick walls. The breakfasts are extremely well cooked, cooked to order. Porridge was delicious. Breakfast room felt a bit tight, it is located in the basement. A helpful night porter is available, as are all of the staff. Rooms are large, the usual large rooms found in Victorian buildings. All rooms are ensuite. Very clean. Beds are comfy but not so soft you sink into them. Recommended for those visiting the West-End and City Centre.
