I am a fully qualified Piano & keyboard teacher (& accompanist), with over 20 yrs of teaching experience. I offer One-to-one piano & keyboard tuition in your own home. Based in Knutsford. Offering piano lessons in your own home which proves popular with parents who have a lot of after school activity transporting to do!

I teach piano performance & music theory to grade 8 standard & though I encourage my pupils to enter for exams, they are entirely optional. Motivation & enjoyment are far more important. I teach all ages 4 & upwards.

My preferred teaching method is based on the Alfred publishing piano method, which is both flexible & thorough. The course is based on popular tunes, which both adults & children can enjoy.

My results, so far, have been very successful with over 99% of exam entries passing & over 60% of those achieving merit or distinction grades.

I have been learning the piano with Tony since 2015. He is an excellent teacher of both popular and classical music. He is very patient and his knowledge is outstanding. Highly recommended if you love music.

A good piano teacher and friend

Anthony is a great and patient piano teacher for children. He loves piano and music really much, which made his lesson full of passion and fun. My son began to learn piano with him from 5 years old, and this year he is in age 10 and passed his ABRSM grade 8 exam in May. Now we continue to study piano with him, to explore more fun in music.

Lessons review

Anthony has been providing lessons for both my son (now 8) and me for the past year. He is patient and encouraging and keeps the lessons interesting. My son really enjoys his lessons, has great rapport with Anthony and is developing a solid knowledge. I had never played before but have learnt loads in the past 12 months. Most importantly I love playing! We couldn’t be more pleased and in fact we’re trying to find another slot in his diary for our daughter.

Great teacher,my 7 yrs old had massive improvement

My son had pass mark for his grade 1 exam with other teacher.i had Anthony in since January this year,he is great. He corrected my son's fault skills and made my son felt fun to play piano. He just had his grade 2 exam and got merit. I was very impressed by the result.

He also gives a lots useful advice to parents on how to supervise kids' practice.

He is a great teacher and I would recommend him to others.
