I would recommend Annette to anyone, she is professional, reliable and extremely good at what she does. It is always nerve wracking having an expensive wedding dress altered but she has done a fantastic job of my daughter's, at a very reasonable price. She also does any alterations, dressmaking etc and I would definitely use her again.

well...Annette quite simply saved my daughter's wedding dress...and so her wedding day.
We had used another dressmaker....and didnt realise until too late that the dress wasn't improving with additional fittings.
Annette came to our rescue. I will be forever grateful. My daughter looked the most beautiful elegant bride.
She bent over backwards to get the dress finished in time. And her eye and years of experience was transforming. She instantly knew what to do.

Amazing experience! I knocked on the door of Annette Bell Designs without an appointment and in need of a seamstress to alter my wedding dress. Annette was most accommodating and didn’t mind that I didn’t have an appointment. Annette altered and changed my dress and due to some weight gain was able to alter my dress again with only a couple of days to go before my wedding day. The work on my dress is perfect and I am so happy with the end result. Amazing service and would highly recommend!

Annette has just done some alterations to my wedding dress and I am over the moon with the work she has done!
When I took the dress to her she talked me through the options, pinned it in a few different ways so that I could see which I preferred and guided me towards things that might work better than others. She gave me an idea of the cost for the work that needed doing and it came in at exactly that, which was very reasonable and less than I had expected.
Having picked up the dress this weekend I am thrilled that it looks absolutely perfect and fits beautifully.
Annette is very friendly and communicates well with her clients. The service I experienced was second-to-none - I can highly recommend her!

Annette is a marvellous dressmaker with the knack of ensuring that everything looks good. She is a perfectionist and takes a great pride in her work. She specialises in wedding dresses and can cut and re-design an existing gown or start from scratch and make a pattern. For my daughter's wedding at the end of last year she altered and added to a complicated wedding gown as well as fitting the bridesmaids dresses and designing and making my own outfit. I can recommend every aspect of her work. She is calm and orderly and her charges are reasonable.
