Marcus did a great job installing our woodburner. He was very patient in answering all our questions in the run up to doing the job Replacing a chimney pot that turned out to have a crack was no problem to him. He went to a lot of trouble to position the stove in the best position for efficient heating too. He and his colleague left the house and garden as they found it. Couldn’t be more pleased.

On afternoon of Friday 3rd January 2024, reached the Underwood company by phone successfully on the first attempt. Furthermore, to my surprise, connected direct to company founder Andrew to relate a draughting problem which had arisen same day, with trusty Stovax wood burner. i.e. much smoke in room (on lighting up)
At time of conversation, Andrew was actually in the process of completing his scheduled day of appointments some 70 miles away in Bournmouth. Never the less, agreed further contact (same day) to visit & diagnose problem. Received further call around a 2 hours later, subsequently arriving at house a few minutes later with all the relevant equipment. Within hour or so had diagnosed & rectified the flue blockage and cleared up all his equipment.
All now good & extremely lucky to be treated with such prompt service , especially as never used the Underwood Company previously. Furthermore, felt the total invoice value affordable at £60 .

Been using Underwoods for several years. Very efficient booking service on the phone - demand is high so plan ahead a little and they will give you, and stick to, a time slot. Always punctual, friendly and they take great care to ensure cleanliness and quality of service.

Excellent, efficient, respectful service. Very clean conscious! Even left my door looking cleaner than I had ever seen it!

Always good service - nice and prompt, tidy, courteous and professional. We've had our chimneys swept by Andrew (and in this case Marcus) for years and never had any issues for both open fires and wood burners. 5/5 would recommend :)
