Wouldn’t accept £80 a month for a £400 debt, which would take less then 6 months to clear. I broke down over the phone as I’d already offered more than I could afford, and the female agent on the other end of the phone was cold, strict and completely unwilling to help or offer any sort of understanding or compassion. Wouldn’t answer my very clear and simple questions and would repeat herself reading from a script in a robotic tone. I’ve dealt with debt companies in the past, but this company is far and away the most vile I’ve ever come across. Anybody working in debt recovery should have training to ensure they engage with people with compassion, as money problems are a huge stress trigger and some people are already at rock bottom when they come around. It seems like AJE train their agents to treat people like they’re dirt when they deal with them as some form of punishment for being too poor to pay their extortionate fines.

Discriminated me against my disability

These people are heatless spoken to karina and Hanna . Both myself and my dad phoned to ask if they could hold off on taking car today. She is support worker who needs access to a car or she will lose her job. She has also been using her car to take me to the hospital as I have Type-1 Diabetes and damage to the white matter in my brain which will cause me to die prematurely. We tried to offer payment within a few days but were told make a payment today or they are taking the car. The staff on the phone were rude and treated us like dirt.

I’m a disabled person on oxygen I had few parking fines In my mobility vehicle I couldn’t make a £150 payment as I told the college I’m on personal independent payment as well as employment support allowance her reply was “I don’t care you have to make a minimum payment of £150 a month or the bailiff will attend the propertyI’m on oxygen and . So I’ve called in today and spoken to karina she advised she’s the manger was extremely rude I told Karin I only got one payment left of £158 If I could requested if I could split it into two months as the prices on everything has increased I’m really struggling she then replied “ while I was speaking she’s then said bye cutting the call while I was still speaking I don’t understand why my payment plane was canceled my payment is due on the 15 of every month very rude staff I feel racially profiled and discrimination against my disability I’ve always been spoke to rudely by all the staff in the office
