Ammonite flooring is a family run business that has been in the Hayes area for over 35 years. Gerald and Anne being the founders of the business have over the years built up a big client following with many happy returning customers year after year. We are well thought of in the Kent area and value our customers 100%.

We have built our reputation on always being at the end of a telephone and always willing and able to help from start to finish.

Our proactive sales staff are always on hand at our showroom in Hayes, Kent to help you choose the right floor for your needs or to just leave you to look at what we have on offer. We give the same service whether it be for a small bathroom or a whole house. We have over the years taken on many large projects for schools and churches. We have even carried out the supply and installation of timber floors for a Prince who came into our showroom and had a mug of tea!

Very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable right from the start. Have used them twice now, for both wooden floor in the hall and carpet for the landing.They even brought carpet samples to the house for me to be sure of the colour in situ. Extremely pleased with the results of both. They arrived on time, were easy to get on with and their attention to detail was second to none. Made sure I was happy with everything before they left. Would highly recommend.

Professional from start to finish

A lovely, professional experience from start to finish. Ammonite took everything in their stride with my requests and sourced me flooring that fit my requirements exactly. The highlight was definitely the professionalism of the installers, who were really respectful of the fact I was working from home while they were putting down the floor. Then, as little snagging bits and pieces have emerged in the months since, Ammonite have been happy to pop round free of charge to address them without complaint.

A Great Local Business

We wanted our hall flooring changed from a carpet to Amtico flooring. Ammonite Flooring was our local Amitico stockists. We had some idea of what we wanted and visited the shop where they had a vast range of products on display. We found the staff extremely helpful and took away a number of samples. We later took a couple of their shop displays home to get a better idea of whether it was the style and colour we wanted. We placed an order and within a couple of weeks the new floor was down. James spent a couple of days installing the floor, the method being fully explained in the quote for work. Very pleased with the workmanship and final finish.
Soon after, we revisited the shop for a carpet for the stairs and landing. Again, a vast selection of products on display, some of which we were allowed to take home to get a better idea. We placed an order and James returned to fit. Would highly recommend this business for their knowledge, fairness and pricing.

Great Service for work carried out.

Just wanted to say that the service that we received from start to finish was excellent. From seeing the samples to getting the work completed the office team and the fitters we great, extremely polite, friendly and always willing to assist with any concerns. Would fully recommend them for the work completed and for their professionalism thought out the process.

First class service

I needed to have the whole of my downstairs flooring replaced due a washing machine leak. The Ammonite team were not only the most cost effective, they arrived on time, were clean and tidy, and cleared all rubbish from the site following completion.
They kept me updated with additional works that were needed due to the water damage and still finished within the specified time scale. I am so pleased with my new floor, thank you. I would 100% recommend them.
