Ambit Surveys is a Measured Building Surveying practice based in London, specialising in all aspects of measured building surveys and HD laser scanning measurements. Established and managed by the RICS chartered surveyors, we have distinctive and notable expertise in producing complex and detailed as-built measured surveys, detailed 2D CAD drawings and 3D models in natural, built environment and construction.

The company has been established and lead by an MRICS chartered, qualified surveyor and experienced survey manager who has a passion for measurements, drawings and accuracy in surveys.

We equally treat all of our projects with adequate attention and respect whether it is a private, small measured building survey for a purpose of planning permission or big commercial projects for refurbishment or construction.

We do care about all of our clients making sure that our surveys are bespoke, accurate and fit for purpose.

With more than 15 years of experience in measured surveys of different complexity historic, commercial and residential buildings using a variety of laser scanners and software we are more than capable of laser scanning any structures and producing drawings of any geometry.

Due to our expert knowledge in HD laser scanning, in every one of our surveys, 360° laser scans are always accurately and coherently linked to each other and brought into a common reference grid system. Aligned - registered they form one accurate 3D Measurement Point Cloud, which is used to create our 2D drawings or 3D BIM models.

All of our surveys are of a non-intrusive nature and projects carried out in the safest, sustainable and environmental way.
