Fantastic service drop-off and pick-up journey from Ambleside to Old Dungeon Ghyll. Very friendly drivers, immaculately clean cars and punctual pick-up times. Made our day all the better with their reliable service. Thank you!

We went from Ambleside to Glenridding to catch a ride on one of the steamers that a friend of ours had hired as part of an annual fund raising event he puts on to raise awareness and funds for Motor Neurones Disease. The driver asked us about it and insisted that instead of paying the fare we put the money to the charity!!! On the late night return trip our driver stopped to check a broken down motorist was ok and gave us a detailed list of walks and recommendations for the following day. Amazing service, above and beyond, thank you Amber.

My wife and I had a meal in Ambleside to celebrate our wedding anniversary on 1 July. We were staying at the Langdale Hotel & Spa. As we had not booked a return taxi we decided to walk back. Around 11.30 pm, about an hour from our hotel, an Amber taxi coming towards us stopped and the driver insisted on taking us the rest of the way without charge. Unfortunately we didn't ask his name but we would like to express our appreciation for his kindness and concern for our safety.

Amazing service, really punctual and friendly. Were willing to take us all the way from Hawkshead to Wasdale for a reasonable price which was extremely helpful

Shocking service. I tried booking a taxi at 5pm for a 6.45pm pick up. Gone 7pm and no sign so tried ringing them numerous times and they kept rejecting my call. We ended up having to drive and found lots of their taxis Sat in the town centre. Not a good way to run a business!
