This evening, I broke my locking kitchen window handle. Not wanting to spend a night with a downstairs window unsecured I started looking for 24 hours locksmiths. Most were national call centres who would sub contract the work to local tradesmen, and who could not respond until tomorrow morning.

Seeing that Alympic, a local and family run locksmith, belong to NNAL and The Guild of Master Craftsmen as well as being CRB checked (amongst other professional organisations) I called them at 11pm and asked if they would be available to fix the window this evening.

They said they would come immediately, and would see if they had the correct parts to fix the handle, and if not, secure the window overnight and repair tomorrow.

Arriving only a short time later with the actual parts required for a fix, the job was completed very quickly. They were extremely friendly, helpful and competitively priced.

If / when I need a locksmith again these are the only company I will use. I recommend them highly.

Thankyou to Alympic Locksmiths for getting me out of a sticky situation (Pardon the pun)My front door lock had jammed shut. No matter how much key turning I did it would not open. A friend of mine recommended Alympic as she knew being a single parent its always worrying letting somebody you don't know come to your home especially late at night. Within 30 minutes I was put at ease and shortly after sitting with a cuppa back in my own house. The cost was more than fair and have since phoned other Locksmiths for a quote for the same situation non of which have been as reasonable. With no damage he somehow got the door open and soon had the lock working again saving me the cost of new lock and keys. Thankyou and I can highly recommend this company
