BEWARE. Advertised on Ebay was a replacement alternator for my 2007 Chrysler 3.0 CRD. Description read. " Alternator for Chrysler 3.0 CRD will fit years between 2005 to 2012 £138" On purchasing and paying a £50,00 deposit for the return of the old alternator. I paid £300,00 to have the alternator fitted. IT WAS NOT COMPATIBLE with my car and did not work. I reported this to Alternatorsstarters. There reply was I ORDERED THE WRONG ALTERNATOR !!!! Incorrect product information. I am not an experienced automotive person. I bought what I genuinly a part that WOULD fit my car I contacted the company on 3 occassions and had NO reply from them. It will now cost me a further £300.00 to have the wrong alternator removed. I will re fit my original alternator that has had a £150.00 complete rebuilt. My total out of pocket amounts to £750.00
