Alpha Vets

Alphavet was founded by Russell Chandler in 1996. His vision was to provide the best possible veterinary care for Risca and the surrounding area, while remaining friendly, approachable and empathetic. The local pet owning community was kind enough to support the new venture and we rapidly became established. Within three months the doors were opened to orthopaedic and spinal patients referred by neighbouring veterinary practices.

Over the years Alphavet has expanded and developed in the range of services offered. Despite this we have never lost sight of our core values, and the gratitude that we owe to the pet owners who have used our services and allowed us to prosper.
