Just had a quote from these to replace a pendulum quartz movement £70+ vat I’m in the wrong job, removed old mechanism myself then ordered replacement £6 from eBay 🤣👍

This is the second time we have used Mr Wainwright.
This time he restored our 18th Century Long Case clock and we were so impressed that he not only overhauled the workings but repaired the wooden case and restored the dial.

Emailed to enquire about a repair to my grandfather clock. I recieved a prompt reply saying they could help.
I asked three times by email and text for a rough costing of repair.
Never recieved a response.

There are not many shops that you walk into and feel as if you're the most important customer in the world, but that's exactly how I felt when I delivered my 1900 mantle clock to the shop a few weeks ago. Richard talked to me about the clock's history, value, and how he would bring it back to life and I left safe in the knowledge it was in good hands. Two weeks later, Richard was at my door with the clock. He'd turned a rather tired, but handsome clock into something that sparkled.
