I found David a few years ago and both my children attended his lessons - my son learnt to play the guitar and my daughter had vocal coaching. I could not recommend him highly enough!! David is very patient and knowledgeable, he is encouraging and manages to get the best out of his students. My daughter returned to get vocal coaching as she is preparing for an audition and David was always going to be the person to prepare her for it.
If you don't feel confident or want to pick up a new skill, David is your person! He will make you feel at ease and you'll be astonished at your potential.

David is amazing! Our son loves his guitar lessons and has learned so much, growing in confidence and musicality every week. From a shy beginner, he can now proudly perform and sing his favourite songs to an audience. David is friendly, relaxed, supportive, patient, and really knows how to engage his students, helping them to learn the music they love, and working with them to discover and explore new music. I am still in shock at what David helped me achieve in his studio. I never imagined how much influence he would have on my song, but he has a real ear for 'what sounds right'... I went in sounding like Kermit the Frog, & came out sousing like Dizzy Rascal cross Tupac , I owe this man for his skill at bringing out what lies beneath the surface. He knows so much about ‘how’ to bring vocals to life. He was great at arranging my song for me, and managed to turn a rap I had made with a few verses , intro , outdo and bridge , into a fully fledged professional rap song, with chorus, verses , bridge outro . I realise now how important the ‘recording studio dude’ is when recording for the first time, as David really brought my rap to life, and somehow made it better then I ever even imagined it sounding ! Thanks again and looking forward to working with you more for any future songs I wish to record .

From the outset I found David to be open, friendly and encouraging; as a beginner this was very helpful to my development.

David and I worked on many aspects of singing including: pitch accuracy/flexibility, vocal dynamics/agility/resonance, phrasing and vowel sounds.

My vocal range has been extended, the bridge between my head and chest voice is smoother. Also, my vocal tone is more relaxed and I have begun to develop my own style with growing confidence. I enjoyed being recorded with a backing track which helped to quickly identify areas for improvement and development.
