Why?

All About Lymphoedema differs from other organisations or individuals as we do not seek to make any corporate or personal gain as there is no conflict of interest.

The advice and information we give is impartial; much of which has come from personal experience from living with lymphoedema, past or present.

This website, the advice forums and group meetings – in person and online – are all provided free of charge to visitors, contributors and attendees, providing support and benefit to

people throughout the UK who have lymphoedema and other related conditions

their friends and relatives

This website is designed to be our prime source of information about lymphoedema and will raise awareness of the condition provide information to those with lymphoedema and other related conditions.

We will hold regular group meetings – both in person and online – which will also help and benefit people with lymphoedema. It will also provide opportunity for their family and friends to gain a greater understanding about the condition and also benefit from the mutual support.

Our fundraising efforts are all aimed at reinvesting in the services provided and the development of new services to enhance the support. As well as raising these vital funds and awareness of lymphoedema, we aim to have fun when doing it which is and will be reflected in the diversity of our fundraising events and efforts.

We hope that the information and support that is available across this website, from our support networks and from our activities will provide benefit and support to those with lymphoedema and those around them. And that people with lymphoedema will become more informed about the condition, how to treat and live with it , resulting in the improvement in their health and well-being.
