I had a very unusual job through my own fussiness of my car number plate!
I recently bought another car (not new) and so after years of weathering the metal number plate bolts were rusty and I didn't like how it made the car look aesthetically. I was able to get mechanics to change the front number plate bolts without issue as they were fixed into plastic. However, the rear number plate bolts gave them a lot of trouble, and they were only able to remove one which broke off in the holder. In my quick thinking I Googled something random like 'Car...metal...leytonstone' and ALGGATES came up. I called and I appreciated it was a strange discussion but the worker was still keen to have a look, and all I was expecting was advice. But, straight away 2 workers started to work to resolve the issue. Through their expertise in dealing with metals they were able to remove the broken bolt and the other on my car, despite not being mechanics who had given up and said nothing can be done. Thank you!
